Core features & operational benefits

Rapid Peel-and-Stick Deployment

Labor Savings → Pre-applied industrial adhesive backing allows warehouse staff to apply thousands of tags per hour. Completely eliminates the need for hot-glue, stitching, or mechanical fasteners.

Unrivaled Application Flexibility

Versatility → Low-profile PET substrate seamlessly bends around curved cartons, cylindrical bottles, and irregular packaging geometries without damaging the delicate internal IC antenna.

Dramatic Cost Efficiency

Budget Control → Stripped of expensive printable top-layers and hard-plastic enclosures. Wet inlays provide the exact same scan distance and performance as costly encapsulated tags, at a fraction of the price.

Proven Inventory Accuracy

Loss Prevention → Guarantee 99.9% inventory accuracy. Pinpoint exact item locations, instantly detecting theft or shrinkage whether at the storefront or the distribution hub.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Wet Inlay and a Dry Inlay?

A Dry Inlay consists solely of the semiconductor chip and the antenna physically attached to the PET base layer; it has absolutely no adhesive and cannot stick to anything. A Wet Inlay is a Dry Inlay that has been subsequently coated with an adhesive backing and placed on a release liner, turning it into a deployable "sticker".

Can I print logos or barcodes onto a Wet Inlay?

Generally, no. Wet inlays are transparent (you can see the metallic antenna inside). They lack the white paper or synthetic face-stock required for thermal transfer printing. If you need to print visual barcodes on top of your RFID tag, you should purchase our "Finished RFID Labels" instead.

Will wet inlays work normally when applied to metal racks?

No. Standard UHF and HF wet inlays suffer from extreme signal detuning and interference when mounted directly against metal. If you need to tag metallic assets like servers, vehicles, or kegs, you must use our specialty On-Metal RFID tags, which feature an isolating foam standoff layer.

Can Wet Inlays be fed into automated label applicator machines?

Yes! We deliver wet inlays on continuous rolls with standard silicone release liners. They are specifically configured to feed seamlessly into automated tamp-blow or wipe-on industrial packaging applicators running at high speeds.
